Please join us for our coho salmon graduation! These fry need to be moved to the pond from the troughs inside the hatchery. Before they are moved, the pond needs to be cleaned and drained, then refilled. See below for a rough timeline for the day:

9:00 - 11:00 am: Cleaning and draining the pond

11:00 am - 2:00 pm: pond refilling. Feel free to leave for lunch / a break and come back to see the fish move into the pond

2:00 - 3:00: Draining fish into pond (this doesn’t take a lot of people, but it’s really fun to watch!

Things to bring: Boots (waders if you have them), non-slick shoes (pond gets very slippery), clothes you don’t mind getting wet/dirty.
