Celebrate Earth Day! Volunteers needed to plant 100 native trees in the Shell Creek Valley at Yost Park in Edmonds, WA. Terrain is uneven and potentially muddy, so wear boots and gloves, bring a standard full sized shovel, and plan to get dirty! Ages 13+ only, Pre-registration is required: https://signup.com/go/zrotHox Please be sure to sign-up for the Earth Day event on 4/24 as this Sign-up.com link also includes our weekly volunteer events at Yost Park.
Check in at the Yost Park poolhouse at 9535 Bowdoin Way.
Light, individually wrapped refreshments will be served.
Due to safety concerns regarding COVID-19, group sizes are limited and we expect to fill up quickly.
If you are unable to join us this time, there are still lots of ways you can help! Picking up litter that would otherwise wash into our storm drains, planting native plants in your own yard, or committing to doing away with single-use plastics like water bottles would all contribute to a more sustainable planet Earth. However you choose to celebrate, THANK YOU for making a difference!
