Show your Love for Salmon by joining SSS for our annual Polar Plunge!

Sound Salmon Solutions is hosting our Polar Plunge on February 10th, 2024. The Polar Plunge is our annual fundraising event where registered participants show their love for salmon by seeking pledge donations before making the icy plunge into the Puget Sound. As we enter our 34th year of operation, we plan to use contributions from events such as the Polar Plunge to further expand our programs and our impact on salmon recovery by continuing our mission of connecting our community to their watershed for the future of salmon.

Not only is this event helpful for Sound Salmon Solutions, but it has also been a community favorite as it is an opportunity to connect with fellow watershed warriors, dress up, and have fun! Following the plunge, participants are invited to join us at our office located on 3rd Street for warm beverages and Ivars Clam Chowder, and see the coho salmon we are raising here! A minimum donation of $20 for youth and $40 for adult participants is requested. Costumes are highly encouraged, but not required. *Please note due to safety concerns, only registered participants will be able to plunge, but guests are welcome to cheer from shore.
