Jeff was born and raised in Everett Washington, and has a passion for the outdoors and a love for the Pacific Northwest’s native flora and fauna.
He graduated from Huxley College of the Environment at Western Washington University with a degree in Environmental Science. Jeff focused on wildlife and terrestrial ecology, and worked on carnivore and avian research projects, as well wetland and upland vegetation monitoring. He also spent a summer deep in the jungles of Costa Rica working on wildlife diversity surveys in two of the National parks.
Jeff worked for two years throughout the Stillaguamish and Snohomish River basins working on salmon habitat restoration, beaver flooding mitigation, in stream salmon surveys, and low impact development projects with the Dept. of Ecology’s Washington Conservation Corps.
He is very excited to be a part of the Sound Salmon Solutions team, and looks forward to lending his knowledge and experience in helping SSS reach their goals.
